The Role

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Officer to fill a maternity leave position. As a Customer Service Officer, you will play a vital role in assisting our Sales team in achieving their targets and providing exceptional customer service. This is a temporary position, offering you the opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a meaningful impact within our organization.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Sales Team, your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

  • Providing administrative support to the sales team
  • Providing customer service by staying on top of pending orders and customer requests
  • Preparing quotations using information provided and/or self-sourced from approved suppliers
  • Confirming stock availability 
  • Managing customer and supplier relationships
  • Having an active involvement with maintaining a healthy CRM system including proactive communication 
  • Maintaining current customer relationships in conjunction with our sales team
  • Liaising directly with customers in relation to order management 
  • Updating customers in relation to order progress, timing and production schedules
  • Communicating with our supply partners and manufacturing team, assisting to facilitate customers’ orders
  • Managing projects
  • Quality Control

 Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service role or similar administrative position.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Attention to detail mandatory
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude, taking initiative to solve problems and deliver results.
  • Thorough, attentive and able to follow sound instructions
  • Ability to think logically, problem solve and be proactive
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems
